Blends is not a compilation, Blends is not a solo release but Blends is the fifth full lenght album by Plaster. The idea behind this work is very simple but intriguing at the same time: During the first lockdown in Europe, Gianclaudio decided to share with several artists and friends, united by the common path of electronic music, his own sounds, personal libraries and projects. At the beginning was just an embronial idea, like “let’s see what happens”, but soon Gianclaudio understood that something concrete were borning, a new collaborations album.
The artists involved are (in alphabetical order): Brando Lupi, Cluster Lizard, Andrea Ciccarelli with Ambra Chiara Michelangeli, Franz Rosati, Grischa Lichtenberger, Khymeia, Lakker, Marco Bonini, Mingle, PixFoil, Retina.it, and Vera Di Lecce.
All those musicians have orbitated at Klang (Rome), the reowned Club where Marco Bonini and Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri where the artistic directors.

Gianclaudio’s statments says: “Trough my work at Klang, i had the chance to consolidate some old friendships and make new one. For me Blends, represents a walk on a sunny day with musicans that I admire.”

Despite the album comes from different artistic approaches, there’s a powerful cohesion trough the sounds and tracks itselfs. Deep low frequencies, dark tones, metallic textures, even acoustics intruments, voices and well arranged melodies.
Thankful to Daniele Crocenzi and Calogero Aquilina, the guys Behind Eklero and Khymeia, Blends is released as limitied CD (50 copies), embelled by the visual work of Andrés Rincón.
